Give your time to the wilderness.
Volunteers have quietly carried a share of the work at Baxter for decades. These are a few of the ways to join them.
Small hands, big park.

Campground Host
Weekly stays, May 15 – October 15

Visiting Artist Program
Rolling applications
Writers, painters, photographers, and musicians are invited to propose a short residency in exchange for a body of work inspired by the park.
How to volunteer.
Volunteer work is coordinated by the park’s administrative office. Please reach out to express interest or ask about upcoming days.
Or just come to Earth Day.
Saturday, April 25 at 9 AM. Gloves are nice. Sturdy boots are better.
