Join rangers and neighbors on Saturday, April 25 at 9 AM to help tidy park-adjacent roadways, followed by a community BBQ.
Each spring, the roads leading into and around Baxter catch a winter's worth of litter as the snow retreats. On Saturday, April 25, we gather at 9:00 AM for a community litter patrol, followed by a BBQ at Abol Gate.
Bring sturdy boots, gloves, and layers. Bags and hi-vis vests will be provided. All ages welcome. The first stretch of trail back into the season is the one we walk together.
The Reservations Line and Park Headquarters in Millinocket will be closed on Monday, 4/20, in observance of Patriot's Day.
ReadThe Park is seeking a partner for website design, hosting, and maintenance. Proposals are due May 20, 2026.
